1. Introduction

Global New Generation – Found in Schools is the first phase of the project Exposing Underground Creativity. GNG – GH will visit basic to higher level educational institutions to set up art and cultural clubs – and if already found will support their sustainability, as mandated of the organization – to promote education and information in art and culture as fundamental forms of social integration among the youth and children.

The mechanism: Global New Generation – Found in Schools will help to discover, actively hunt for and nurture talent from the street side college to feature in an on-going Global New Generation Music Compilation. The compilation will also feature our German counterparts, and will be promoted, marketed and distributed by the organisation’s subsidiary label New Globe Art Factory

The initiative found in schools will not only help the students to adapt good reading and composition habits but will also serve as an alternative career choice for children and youths, as they will have the privilege to perform at the event Exposing Underground Creativity alongside renown artists, which can significantly build their confidence.

The mechanism: GNG – GH will visit and spend art and cultural hour with students every Friday in an effort to build and select participants with the potential to feature in the on-going music compilation.

Exposing Underground Creativity

  is in commemoration of International- Africa Youth Day

The project aims to usher the youth and children into a healthy frame of creative work. This can then act as a guide and tool to inspire children and youth against unhealthy competition in the creative art industry.

The project will be a forum to share experiences, ideas and inspiration between elderly, experienced artists and the young about the creative art industry.

As an intercultural exchange program between Ghana and Germany; intend to share diversity; to discover and nurture children and youth; to address challenges artistically in the society and global issues such as education, health, housing, empowerment and employment. Specific collaboration is described below:

Is a musical collaboration between German and Ghanaian artists especially among the young and also renown artist who has focus on youth upliftment, later will visit each other country as soon as recording is done, in order to create the possibility for the music video coverage between the two countries, which our German counterparts have prepared compilation beats for both artists to compose their own songs to the beats; the compilation CD will be promoted, marketed, and distributed by the label New Globe Art Factory.

The featured artists discovered in the school program Global New Generation Found In School will keep in contact with one another , visit each others countries to perform and continue, deepen their exchanges, which will create possibility for the youth to face the reality of Europe and the other way round face the reality of Africa to demolish the fake images set up by media

Workshops, seminars and presentations by professional mentors in the Ghana performing arts industry will set out diverse career choices in the field of creative work.

Promote GLOBAL NEW GENERATION MUSIC  COMPILATION CD through a launch concert. As this will create platform for the children and youth to exhibit their talent.

 IMPACT

As far as the benefits are concerned, the project will give a great number of youth a forum from which they can engage in more productive art and cultural activities, as well as discover and exploit their talents.

The impact of the project on the youth should begin to be seen in the first six months, specifically the fact that more youth from the regions will begin to be drawn to the event center, and appreciate cultures from outside their own locality.

The youth are naturally the most socially active in any society, it is the stage of life where ambitions and the means to achieve those ambitions are of a high priority for many individual youth.

These targeted beneficiaries will therefore be open to any opportunity that arises to help them engage in more productive activities as participants learn through the travelling experience of both cultures Europe/Africa in the form of this forum. At the end of a year, Global New Generation will seek to conduct an impact assessment through, if possible, a different project l0cation.

This is aimed towards perpetually integrating cultures from different regions of Ghana and Germany to influence cultural pluralism and tolerance.

The forum will address the following issues:

c. How Creative Art Can Create a Holistic Society (Black Santino)

The Global Mentor Award will be bestowed to persons who have created positive impact in the shaping of Ghana’s creative arts.

Launch and share experience during the production of Global New Generation musical compilation album entitle: Global New Generation Ghana between Ghana and Germany.

Music and dance performances by various artists from various regions of Ghana- Germany and other countries.

Multi cultural Art and Crafts exhibition.

GLOBAL NEW GENERATION GHANA MUSIC COMPILATION

Global New Generation Music Compilation is to address activities of social interest that will bring growth to our children and youth, enhance development and empowerment not only in the creative art industry but also will stretch it’s wings to address issues on Education, Health, Moral enhancement creating a universal view of human livity.

The compilation team are scouting from schools to schools, different event functions to discover and nurture the best alternative music talent that will be selected to participate in the compilation.

The initiative is a short term plan to usher in the annual forum Exposing The Underground Creativity for youth awareness, intercultural bridge and talent exhibition Ghana-German commemoration of International and Africa Youth Day.

The Government of Ghana has done gratefully well,  promoting education and information in art and culture by introducing into school study curriculum creative art. The initiative to implement Creative Art at the basic, to higher level of education was awesome in a good direction to awake and equip the future generation of children and youths at their early age in life about talents and career. In that response Global New Generation, non profit international organization mandated to create educative awareness in art and culture, as fundamental forms of social integration among the youth and children has taken the initiative to assist less privilege school to help implement and meet the requirement of the educational service.

GNG- GH FOUND IN SCHOOL

The organization in its capacity, if not found a Drum Club or Cultural Club in Schools; will inspire the teachers and students to found GNG Fun Club.The syllabus Creative Art help the child in the left development of the brain proven by science.  The organization Program Coordinator Vishnu N K Quao with stage name VishnuExpress  in the past year been working with the Neo Humanist School in Ejura Kumasi in the Ashanti region, Ananda Marga International School, Korle Gonno Accra and Cambridge Preparatory School Korle Gonno Accra.The project with team of volunteers Raja Flame ,  Micheal Lartey , all creative artists, actress  and management visit schools who are handicap financially, experience late payment of teachers, resulting in professional teachers, lack of infrastructural facilities, arts and sporting facilities etc.

CAMBRIDGE PREPARATORY SCHOOL

The initiative to set up Global New Generation Fun Clubs in Schools, in a short term attracted  volunteer, Mandy Hetz, Veronika Schlicker and David Schlicker. Mandy Hetz a sister to Snjah Prinz, the founder of the Global New Generation Organization  through their countless effort collected donation from sister schools  in Germany and the initiative of   New Globe Art Factory  donated a sewing machine to the VishnuExpress Fashion Collection   and study materials to the Ananda Marga School .

Global New Generation Ghana management in their sincere effort to promote education and information in art and culture, On the 24^th of February 2012 held a New Humanist Educational Workshop for the students and teachers in the Korle Gonno community at the premise of Cambridge Preparatory School, a three hour workshop with speakers’ Dada Pramananda  and Didi Gayatari  of Ananada Marga Organization Ghana. The attendance was approximately 45, including students and teachers sharing new methods of Bio Psycho teaching and learning, were we had  artists like VishnuExpress, RajaFlame, King VuVu  contributing to the success of workshop.

Aims and Objectives

• The initiative is to discover and nurture young talents in schools, that will feature in an ongoing Ghana- German intercultural exchange music compilation,
which will be launch marketed and distributed by the label  http://new-globe-art-factory.com

• Not only will the initiative discover and nurture talents but will also encourage the youth to adopt good reading and composition habit and a creative approach, which participant with vibrant potential will be goaded in the creative work industry.

• The initiative is a self investment, development and empowerment tool for the students and participant to build a career choice, which ideally will also to divert the youth focus from bad social practice to something wealth earning respect from society.

• Not only will the initiative promote parallelism in Art and Culture but will also address the essence of creative art through seminars, workshops events AND ETC.

• The idea will create awareness not only about music but will make known its component addressing various social issues.

GNG-GH FRIDAY MEETING WITH CAMBRIDGE PREPARATORY SCHOOL

 Activities and Duration

• The initiative is to visit basic schools such as nursery to primary schools EVERY FRIDAY OF THE WEEK,

If not found in the schools Cultural Club or what we call Drama Club; Global New Generation is to help facilitate or found its growth.

The initiative is to operate its activities throughout the term and also expected to present a cultural performance at the end of year ceremony.

The idea will teach the students how to play instrument, sing, and compose songs; inspire them how to write and demonstrate script and as such help their growth through the practice of choreography

The initiative will address three schools each semester and build upcoming role model for the new generation

Meetings will be held every Friday of the week with the student or participant after and will last for 45min

Background Information

Global New Generation Ghana is located in Hastoo suburb of Accra and undertake it’s field work  in a suburb  area called Korle Gonno, where  majority of the inhabitants are the less privilege parents to who is a much struggle to  settle their kids school fees and supply their children with study materials.

It is a challenging situation for parents, wards and most importantly the school administration. Out of research most parents delay in the payment of school fees due to situation beyond control putting into account large family expenses and etc, makes its challenging for school management to employ  adequate and professional teachers to inspire the students.

One of the reason is to enhance the child reading and composition habits, out of research, not all students have interest in mathematical and science subjects, some students have multi talents, which can be in the form of body pose, performing art, painting, singing, dancing, sports and etc, of which Global New Generation is mandate to promote.

The beauty of the project attracted our fellow sisters and brother from  the Global HeadOffice in Germany  represented their fellows, Mandy Hetz  and her kind hearted friends Veronika Schlicker and David Schlicker donate study materials to the pupil of Ananda Marga International School and a sew machine to VishnuExpress Fashion Collection to encourage the ongoing projects of the organization.

Background Of School

Cambridge preparatory school was established on the 12th September, 1967.

It was started with seven classrooms with seven teachers, and 47 children.

The ministry of education approved the school on the 22nd October, 1976, with the first registration; number sis/29 Cambridge used to be one of the well attended preparatory schools in the country and can boast of having topped in the erstwhile common entrance examination four consecutive years

Currently, with the proliferation of private schools the population has drastically dwindle and this has resulted into challenges confronting the school

It’s an ongoing project providing nursery education for more than four decade, to the people of Korle  Gonno and nearby communities, in the South Ablekum District.

The initiative of Ananda Marga AMURT is located on the 60 Old Winneba Road korle Gonno, in the Greater Accra Region with affordable education for the less privilege children; introducing a holistic lifestyle.

Not only is the project abiding by the specification of the national education curriculum, has also created a holistic and moral up bringing environment for the student to part take in  greater responsibilities to help channel the course of the individual self to the service of the global world.

The project has produce eligible and responsible public figures and able to build a reputable images the very society has emulate to the service of national growth.

It is of great surprise the project rest itself on a rented property; which it’s to vacate the premises as at last year December 2011: by His Grace the project is still using the same location due to successful fund raising effort made by members of the Ananda Marga Ghana Organization to settle the past rent.

It was a challenging effort the organization has to raise the amount of funds required to rent the property, if not have no choice then to shut down the project which automatically will be a floor to the very communities.

It is in the view of many the project management and organization does its possible best to acquire the location. in that responds the whirling voices which happen to be the voice of the meek and some old students of the nursery school has throw the challenge to its kind hearted and sympathizes; to do all possible best to help acquire the property and turn around the project into its real rationality and dynamic function, Which is to provide higher  education.

Kind hearted sympathizer all our project can do far better; in there is adequate support in terms of logistic and etc.
